Electron microscopy theory and simulations

The computer-based analytical and simulation tools that are behind the progress of charged-particle optics represent the topic of this symposium, and should cover all aspects of CAD for electron optics, such as physical principles, algorithms and software tools for computer simulation of electron scattering in solids, complete simulation of the imaging process in SEM, and simulation of TEM images.
