The support for students and young scientists to attend the Congress is an integral part and a respected tradition of this event. Education opportunities for the young generation are a necessary prerequisite for further progress in many scientific disciplines therefore we will provide a specific strategy to support them.

The benefits were distributed primarily based on the scientific quality of contributions, while also taking into account the needs of students from countries with sub-optimal financial support of students / young scientists. The international studentship committee (ISC) assured the fairness of the distribution of funds. Additional scholarships were organized in collaboration with (and through) the European Microscopy Society and national societies.

Following support is available for PhD students and researchers in their early stage of career.
